Web Designer / Developer
During my stint at CMECK Solutions, I worked as a WordPress Designer, primarily handling projects for US-based clients from March 2024 to April 2025. I was responsible for designing and developing WordPress websites while working remotely, often under tight schedules. Despite strict timelines, I consistently delivered high-quality work, collaborating with remote teams to meet client expectations and project deadlines.

Web Designer / Developer
After starting as a Trainee Front-end Web Designer, I was then promoted to a permanent role as a Front-end Web Developer. There, I got to be the lead developer of a WordPress site, designed and developed for AB Mauri Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. In addition, I have worked on several other websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP. I also had the opportunity to design a few UI/UX concept designs for several clients. My UI concept was also selected by KIA Sri Lanka, which was later developed as their official website.

I have completed the Google UX Design - Professional Certificate in the early stages of 2024. Here, I have worked on empathizing with users, defining pain points, ideating solutions, creating wireframes and prototypes and testing and iterating on designs.
2021 - 2022
BEng (Hons) in Software Engineering
I completed my Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Software Engineering programme with First Class Honours. In this degree, I studied Software Development Lifecycle, Software Engineering concepts, Software Testing and more. In addition, I was able to get practical knowledge of C# programming with the .NET framework, web application development and the uses of AI along with several group projects as well.

Higher National Diploma in Computer Science

I completed my Higher Nation Diploma in Computer Science - Specialized in Software Engineering with an overall grade of 'Merit'. In this period, I have developed several software applications in C# with SQL databases and a web solution using HTML, CSS and PHP. A UI design as well as one academic research was also conducted during this period.

G.C.E. Ordinary Level & Advanced Level Exams

I sat for the O/L exam in 2013 and received a result of A7, B1 and C1. Then in 2016, I had my first attempt at the A/L exam and got a Distinction Pass for General English. On my repeat attempt in 2018, I had a result of S2, for Media Studies and Logic with Scientific Method.
